Simple and extremely reliable electronically activated matches for flight and ground operations.

I separate E matches into two types:
Ground operations: Rigid wire and high current activation for starting motors.
Solid core 18ga bell wire for rigidity to easily stick deep into motors
28ga nichrome bridge wire
Tipped with APCP chunk for motor starting
Flight operations: Flexible stranded wire for activating black powder in flight.
Stranded 24ga wire for easy routing through tight spaces
36ga kanthal bridge wire
Tipped with nitrocellulose gel for durability
Notes:
A multimeter can be used to tune your bridge wire length for optimal resistance.
Nitrocellulose gel can be made by dissolving smokeless powder in acetone.
Bamboo skewers can be taped to the wire to help get the ground matches into extra long motors.
